FFRM is the first football federation to award NFT Trophies to clubs and athletes in partnership with LEVERADE
The Football Federation of the Region of Murcia (FFRM) has teamed up with LEVERADE to present trophies in NFT format to clubs and players for this 2021–22 season.
Awards will be given to the winning club and all the players that make up the team in each of the regional tournaments of football in Murcia.
The president of the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, José Miguel Monje Carrillo, and the CEO of LEVERADE, Antonio Romero, have signed a historic agreement for soccer in Spain.
The FFRM thus becomes the first Football Federation to adopt this new format to reward their athletes for the work they do on the field thanks to the concept: Compete2Earn.
This concept developed by LEVERADE seeks to reward sportsmen women and athletes through the delivery of awards in digital format (NFT) with a view to obtaining new revenue streams, greater dissemination in social networks and connection with new audiences. The NFT trophies will provide various benefits to the athletes who own them thanks to blockchain technology, which aims to be the future of sport.
